Alamo Post 2, The American Legion (Est. 1919)

Veterans applying for transfers from your current Post to Post 2, please follow these steps:

1. Visit the Post at 3518 Fredericksburg Rd, San Antonio, TX 78201 to obtain and fill out a Transfer Member Data Form

2. Submit Transfer Member Data Form along with a copy of your DD-214 or Proof of Service and show membership card

3. Pay Post 2 membership dues of $40 if current year dues have not been paid. If current dues are paid at previous post, dues can be paid later for the following year's Post 2 membership.
